Should I have a Facebook Page or a Profile?

Determining whether to create a Facebook Page or a Profile is a dilemma faced by many business owners. Read on to find out the difference between a Profile and a Page, and which one is right for you.

Profiles represent individuals and must be held under an individual name; a Page on the other hand, allows an organisation, business, celebrity, or band to maintain a professional presence on Facebook.

Profiles are limited to 5,000 friends, whereas Pages can have unlimited fans (or likes). So if future proofing is important to you (and it should be) here’s another reason why a Profile is a no-no.
